Designing Rigs

Using or designing the right rig is just as important finding the right time and place to fish. Because if the bait is not properly presented to the fish, they might not notice or enticed to take it.

as Rigs should be designed to perform optimally in the condition it is used in.

The above illustration shows a basic configuration of line, hook, swivel and sinker to form a typical bottom rig. Many variants can be derived from this basic model by simply adjusting the length of leader or adding more branches of hooks. These adjustments or variants will affect the effectiveness of the rig in a given circumstance and how it is used.
